How many months is the RM12 discount?
The RM12/month discount is for the first 12 months. The 1.0HP model becomes RM91/month during the promo and returns to RM103/month after that. The 1.5HP model becomes RM101/month during the promo and returns to RM113/month after that, subject to current terms.
What is included in basic installation?
Basic installation includes 10 feet copper piping, 10 feet incoming & outgoing wiring, 10 feet PVC pipe & insulation, outdoor unit bracket, 13A plug, refrigerant gas top-up to normal pressure if needed, and installation workmanship warranty. Additional charges apply only if extra work is required, such as trunking, 15A switch, extra piping or removing an old aircond.
How long is the contract?
The rental plan is 5 years / 60 months.
What room is suitable for 1.0HP and 1.5HP?
1.0HP is usually suitable for normal bedrooms, children’s rooms, study rooms or small home offices. 1.5HP is suitable for master bedrooms, larger rooms or rooms that feel warmer. Final recommendation depends on room size, sun direction, ceiling height and room condition.
Is this aircond energy-saving?
VITA 5TAR is a 5-star inverter air conditioner designed for more efficient energy usage. Actual savings depend on temperature setting, room size, installation and usage habits.
How often is the service?
CUCKOO+ Care Service is carried out every 6 months, with a more comprehensive service every 18 months according to the service schedule.
Do I need to clean the filter myself?
Yes, the mesh filter is recommended to be cleaned at least once a month to maintain cooling performance and energy efficiency.
Can I set it to 16°C for faster cooling?
It is not recommended. Use Turbo for fast cooling, then set a comfortable temperature around 24–26°C or use ECO mode for more efficient usage.
Is there a charge to remove an old aircond?
Yes. If old aircond removal is required, the estimated charge is RM100 for 1.0HP/1.5HP, RM120 for 2.0HP and RM150 for 2.5HP. Actual charges are subject to the installation site condition.
